Peter Doan
Program Manager

Peter Doan has been a vital member of the Get Safe team for over 5 years. Peter was a principal contributor to the establishment of the Developmental Disabilities Group Training Program and the Teen Group Training, and has served as the program director and lead instructor for the Developmental Disabilities Individual Training Programs and Krav Maga Training Programs. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology, and is a State Certified Sexual Assault Victim Services Counselor, Dispute Resolutions Program Act certified mediator, and Certified Krav Maga Instructor. Peter has extensive Martial Arts training, including a background in Kung Fu and Krav Maga.

Netta Shaked
Community Outreach Coordinator

In her role of Community Outreach Coordinator for Get Safe, Netta's work has included involvement in the creation & instruction of Get Safe programming, analysis and assessment of program outcomes, facilitation of professional collaborations, and coordination of large-scale private conferences and community outreach events. Netta holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Gender Studies. She has provided individual and group therapeutic counseling for people with mental health disorders, at-risk youth, and detained juveniles. She is a published author and current Doctoral candidate in the field of psychology and law.

Regina Quiambao
Prevention Educator

As a Prevention Educator and Program Instructor, Regina Quiambao brings GET SAFE's mission to life by providing safety education and awareness to children, teens, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities. She has been a member of the GET SAFE™ team for over 5 years and brings over 20 years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in the area of education and training. Holding a degree in Human Services, she has provided essential social services for various government funded programs, including: California State University at Long Beach, the Long Beach Unified School District, and the Welfare to Work program. Additionally, she has provided rehabilitative and job seeking services for survivors of domestic violence. Regina is a State Certified Sexual Assault Victim Services Counselor and is trained in dispute resolution.

Kyle Chavez
Prevention Educator

Kyle Chavez serves as a Prevention Educator for GET SAFE™, and instructs workshops on personal safety and violence prevention. His significant contributions to the establishment of the Developmental Disabilities Group and Individual Training Programs, and his active involvement in their instruction, has helped GET SAFE™ reach thousands of students within this special population. Kyle has an educational background in Anthropology and Criminal Justice. He has also served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he provided combat and security training to Marines. He is a State Certified Sexual Assault Victim Services Counselor, and is consistently involved in providing services for children, teens, special populations, and survivors of assault.
