Identify and respond to bullying behavior

Learn tools to support and empower your child

Learn how to reinforce concepts taught to students and parents

BACKGROUND

For over a decade, GET SAFE has specialized in providing campus safety training for thousands of students, parents, teachers, staff and administrators across California. GET SAFE is committed to tackling the bullying crisis at its core through the BACKOFF! Buddy Program.

Our unique curriculum teaches aims to teach children and young adults the necessary skills to prevent and reduce victimization, learn tolerance, and promote self-confidence. These skills are embodied in what we teach as the ‘Four Keys of Leadership’ for successful individuals: Empathy, Integrity, Inclusion and Community. These four keys, as we teach in our program, are an integral part in confronting and preventing bullying and bullying behavior. An individual embodying these four keys will not only refrain from being a bully themselves, but will also learn to report what's recognized as bullying behavior to an appropriate, trusted person to take action.

The #1 complaint that I had from parents was the bulling issue, so we brought Get Safe on and it's been the most amazing experience! Not only for me, as a principal to be able to provide these tools for my students, but for the students themselves! I think what makes this program really special is that the kids feel empowered, when they are dealing with a conflict or a problem they now know what to do!
