The intent of the four workshops listed above is for each subject to be instructed in a group setting. The curriculum provided is interactive and it is our feeling it is best implemented when a full department, company, or large team participates as a whole. Currently workshops are conducted using virtual meeting software (internet connection required). On-site workshops are available by request. Multiple Workshops can be booked on the same training day.

INITIAL
ASSESSMENT
TRAINING TIME: 1 Hour
PARTICIPANTS: 5-16 Leadership
Previews the course as it will be presented to other staff, and allows for feedback and discussion with the GET SAFE® training team that can then be used to inform remaining course content and structure.
SMALL GROUP
WORKSHOP
TRAINING TIME: 1 - 2 Hours
PARTICIPANTS: up to 16
Supplemental training to identify and respond to issues that the department or team has specifically addressed. This program utilizes role playing, Trauma-Informed Practice & Assessment, and discussions tailored to fit the group.
FOLLOW UP
ASSESSMENT
TRAINING TIME: 1 Hour
PARTICIPANTS: up to 16
Occurs 2-3 months following a workshop to review successes, challenges, and any other issues that may have been noticed since the last session. This includes the primary concepts of S.A.F.E. situational awareness and hosts other areas for continued growth.
